Missionary Journeys of St. Paul

During one of his missionary journeys St. Paul visited Ephesus in Turkey.
He stays in the city about three years (Acts 19:1-20). In Ephesus Paul discovers twelve believers who were baptized but who did'nt as yet have God's spirit. Paul baptizes them in His name and they receive God's Holy Spirit (Acts 19:1-7).

that existed in the Holy land at the time John lived. We also see the Lord's opinion of those Churches, and what they were doing

Antioch - the place where the followers of Jesus were first called Christians; Tarsus - where Apostle Paul was born and many others..

Cnidus Acts 27:7

Positioned on a peninsula that projected as an obstacle from the coastline between Coos and Rhodes, the port of Cnidus helped service the maritime traffic of southwest Asia Minor in antiquity.

The peninsula was known in antiquity for the defeat of the Spartan navy in 394 BCE at the hands of the Athenian admiral Conon (commanding a Persian fleet). The city is mentioned in 1 Maccabees 15:23 as having a Jewish population, and was a free city. St. Pauls struggling boat from Alexandria, Egypt (he was under custody and bound for Rome) came over against Cnidus in the journey.
